As groundbreaking research in psychedelics is yielding extremely promising results across the globe, more people are turning to psychedelics to expand their consciousness and for therapeutic use. However, the altered state of consciousness can be overwhelming and destabilising. Without a therapeutic context, the psychedelic experience can be meaningless, dissociative and potentially harmful.
